Family Travels
Puerto Rico
We have visited Puerto Rico five times.

The first time was a port of call on a family cruise....so we
did the touristy stuff and visited the old fort.

On our third trip, we hired a private guide through
Shoretrips.com and took a trip to the rainforest

During one of our trips , the kids  completed the
certification dives in Puerto Rico and got certified in PADI

We always extend our cruise vacations with a night or
two at the Embassy Suites.

We love this hotel...and it is ideally suited for families
Each room is a suite...we requested the suite with
two double beds in the back and the sofa folds out.
It has a small table and chairs for
lunchs/dinners...and has a small refrig.

A full breakfast is included....and there is a manger's
reception each day with free drinks and snacks.

The hotel is beautiful...with an open atrium on the
ground floors with breakfast dining and even an
Outback restaurant.

The pool is really wonderful and it is only a few
blocks to the beach, a mini mart and some good
restuarants.

This is the place to stay

Near the hotel there is a grocery store
and a small shopping center with a

We never miss Mi Casita

It is a long walk and slightly uphill

Scuba Dogs was an awesome outfit for
diving.  Dad was already certified and his
dream was to get the kids certified to
have scuba buddies to share the love of
diving and the adventures.

The kids started their paperwork at home
and completed their dives on the cruise.

Scuba Dogs provided personal service
and the smiles to make this a wonderful
experience for everyone
